A selective approach
The “TOP10” bond portfolio focuses on paper with a rating of at least “Investment grade / Baa3” and combines this with promising high-yield securities.
It consists of a minimum of ten, similarly weighted corporate bonds and can be set up for a sum of EUR 50,000 upwards. At the time of purchase no more than 20% of the bonds may be rated B-/B3 or equivalent. The others have to be rated higher by at least one rating agency. The account can hold securities through their time to maturity if they are not downgraded below C/C3 or the equivalent. The bonds are mostly denominated in Euros. A maximum of 10% may be deposited in foreign currencies.
